Content Editor

The CDSEO content editor is a block-based visual editor that makes it easy to create professional content without coding.

Working with Blocks

Content is built using blocks that you can add, rearrange, and customize:

  1. Click Add Block to insert a new block
  2. Select the block type you want to add
  3. Drag blocks to reorder them
  4. Click on a block to edit its content
  5. Use the block menu to delete or duplicate blocks

Available Block Types

Text

Rich text content with formatting options including headings, bold, italic, lists, and links.

Media

Images and videos for visual content. Upload images directly or embed videos using a URL.

Text + Media

Combined text and image blocks for visual layouts. Position the image left or right of your text.

Row

Multi-column layouts to organize content side by side. Each column can contain its own content blocks.

Adding columns: Click the add column button to add a new column to the row.

Removing columns: Click the remove button on a column to delete it and its contents.

Item

Product picker to showcase related products. Select products from your catalog to display.

FAQ

Question and answer sections that automatically generate FAQ schema for rich search results.

AI Content Loader

Generate content using AI based on your page data. The AI analyzes your product or page information to create relevant content.

Formatting Options

The text editor includes standard formatting tools:

  • Headings - H2, H3, H4 for content structure
  • Bold, Italic, Underline - Text emphasis
  • Strikethrough - Crossed out text
  • Bulleted Lists - Unordered lists
  • Numbered Lists - Ordered lists
  • Links - Hyperlinks to other pages
  • Text Alignment - Left, center, right alignment

Adding Images

  1. Add a Media or Text + Media block
  2. Click to upload or select an image
  3. Enter alt text for SEO

Alt Text Best Practices

  • Describe what the image shows
  • Include relevant keywords naturally
  • Keep it concise (under 125 characters)

Adding Videos

  1. Add a Media block
  2. Select the media URL option
  3. Paste the video URL (YouTube, Vimeo, or other supported platforms)
  4. The video embeds automatically
